The voice · La voz
La Negra sits where the modern flamenco soloist lives: the immediacy and growl of a flamenca, carried on rosewood's darker, longer voice. The bass has weight without boom, the attack stays fast, and a falseta rings on after the hand has moved — fire in front, shadow behind.
She carries Leonardo's most elaborate rosettes; his mosaics belong on a guitar that concertgoers will study up close. Each pattern is cut once, logged in the house book, and never repeated.
